About -
With a mother who was a librarian, it's natural that I grew up loving books. I started with the Little House on the Prairie and Nancy Drew series and moved on to the romances on the spinner in the local library. While I still read romances, I intersperse them with books on leadership, self-awareness, and biographies on the British Royal Family.
My first attempt at writing was a story I wrote for my grandmother about a ghost that lived in her house. It was warmly received and I kept writing at odd moments. One such moment was written for my high school German class about a girl who escaped from a concentration camp and aided in the assignation of Adolf Hitler. Such an imagination!
Then I went away to college, graduated with degrees in Business Administration and Fashion Merchandising, got married, had two children and any thought of writing was put on the back burner as I took care of my family and became involved in other crafts such as scrapbooking and rubber stamping.
In 2008 the voices in my head started talking to me and wouldn't stop. They actually demanded that I put their conversations on paper and I started my journey as a writer. Since then, writing has had to take a back seat for a bit while I worked but 2020 is the time to dust off those manuscripts and see what I can make of them.
I live with my husband and two kids in the Seattle, Washington area. When I'm not writing, I can be found hanging out with my family, watching tennis, or reading.
